PADI Open Water - Midweek Modular

If your evenings are free and you fancy a more laid back method of learning to scuba dive, then the Midweek Modular is just up your street. Just set aside one evening a week for a combined pool and theory session starting from 6.30pm. You can complete your training in as little as five or six sessions, but if you want to take things a little easier it’s no problem. With the pool available 24/7 it’s not a problem if things take a little longer.

Midweek Modular is for people who prefer a less intense method of instruction or find it difficult to take time off at weekends.

What will I do?

We take each of the five modules from the PADI Open Water Diver manual and cover one section each evening, followed by the related skills in the pool session. First your instructor will teach you the basics. Taking your first scuba sessions in our heated pool, you will learn the practical skills needed to allow you to dive safely. The theory is completed in our comfortable multimedia classrooms.

Once your skills and knowledge are up to scratch you will move onto the open water dives. At a local open water dive site you will demonstrate your skills over four exciting open water training dives. You will be using drysuits for these dives to provide maximum comfort and as you will use them for all your future UK dives why not start as you mean to go on. The open water dives are usually completed over one weekend but midweek dives may be arranged with prior notice.

A Note on course bookings

All the PADI materials and scuba equipment needed to complete the programme are included in the cost.
Your books and materials will be posted to you once you book online, whether you pay in full or only a deposit.
Call the centre after booking to select your start date (courses start almost every week) or you can opt to specify a start date once you have studied your course materials. You will need to complete these prior to starting the course.
If you decide to pay only a deposit now, please be aware that the full course balance is due two weeks prior to the course commencement.
